Role-Based Scoring, Not Traditional Fantasy Golf
PPS Fantasy Golf does not use birdies, eagles, or pars for your player scores. Points are earned based on your golfer's performance in their assigned position.

Your team: 1 Driver, 2 Shot-makers, 2 Putters, 1 Scrambler, and 1 Defense Hole.
Each golfer in the PGA Tour field is available for any position. You can assign different golfers to each role or use the same golfer across multiple positions.
Scores update live during every round of each PGA Tour event.
Driver
x1Points for distance and accuracy on par 4s and par 5s.
Shot-maker
x2Points for distance and accuracy of approach shots.
Putter
x2Points for total distance of putts made.
Scrambler
x1Points for saving par or better after missing a green-in-regulation.
Defense Hole
x1Points for every bogey and deductions for every birdie scored by the field on your selected hole.

How is this different from traditional fantasy golf?
PPS uses a role-based system instead of standard birdie, eagle, or par scoring. You build a roster across specific positions: Driver, Shot-maker, Putter, Scrambler, and Defense Hole.
When do contests run?
Contests run most PGA Tour event weeks. New contests are available no later than 24 hours before the PGA Tour event kicks off each week, aligned to the tournament schedule.
Can I use the same golfer for multiple positions?
Yes. You can assign the same golfer to multiple positions or choose different golfers for each position.
What is a Defense Hole?
You select one of the 18 holes on the course. Your Defense Hole scores points when the field makes bogeys on that hole and loses points when the field makes birdies.
